The 2017 Gold Championship Show

The Club held the first double championship show in 2017 and we were pleased to have an entry of 50 Griffons at both shows.
The Gold Show was held in the morning with Dr Kate Sunn presiding as judge. This show was the Kerri Taylor Memorial Show and featured the perpetual trophy in her memory.
The Gold Show begins with a parade of Golden Oldies to celebrate the long and happy lives of our much loved  Griffons. 

It also features the property Classes including the Breeders Team competition.
 

Following the Gold Show exhibitors and guests were welcomed to the presentaton followed by a Champagne Buffet lunch.

Best in Show was awarded to the red smooth Supreme Champion Cricklewood Night of Magic in Paris, making club history as it was the third Best in Show he had won. Runner up in Show was Ch Witchgriff Bear Grylls and Best Opposite Sex was Ch Balliol Gertie Giggles.

Trophies at the Gold Show were the usual high standard with lots of Griffonalia incuding a magnificent Griffon tapestry throw for BIS and engraved wine glasses with Griffons on them. All winners also received a bag of AlaCarte dog food

Handled and prepared by A Barber. This win made club history as he is the first Griffon to have won 3 Best in Specialty Shows in NSW as well as a Reserve in Show at the Queensland Specialty.
